After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in the north to a Laborer, Burgell learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Burgell was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

Description: This tall, slender man wears baggy tan pantaloons and a violet scarf. His silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Thomas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Half-Orc, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.
