History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Paelias was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
