Through the years after Glim was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Glim's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
