History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Kaladan will drive conversation. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Map Maker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sage and was forced into it by his family; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Banker, but he got bored and became a Map Maker. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new map maker responsibilities is difficult
