History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He got into the Stableman business at a young age. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Nutae alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hirrathak. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
