Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a green coat over a grey low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. His white hair and beard is wavy and long. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Flak was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Flak decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Carpenter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Chem is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Chem was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Veit's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.
