History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Brottor grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Brottor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Description: A 6'2" western man, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His fur, while still mostly beige, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are copper.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. He has a very tight haircut. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Baz was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Baz's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: With white face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a white costume with the symbols of the sun god on his torso. Sporting a blonde mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: He is an average looking eastern male in his early mid-life. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Dilettante born in the past three hundred years. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Reirak abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He struck the Dilettante job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is unsatisfied with his job
