History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Mantus and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Spear is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
