History: Quarethon hails from a village terrorized by drow. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Cask will drive conversation. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Cask lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Cask alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and expand his business
