History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bounty Hunter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Nelkin hails from a village terrorized by drow. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and seeks redemption
