History: Kerkad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is content

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
