Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nelkin does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Nelkin's homeland. Nelkin decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He prefers to carry a lance, but if one is not available he will default to his bastard sword, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His red hair is lengthy. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he usually wears his tan robe and has his whip always slung over his shoulder. His red crest is greasy and uncared for. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kriv grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kriv. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Gifted from a young age, Hadarai studied abroad. A freak accident while working with his Body Guard mother left him crippled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
