However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Cartwright. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has worked as a Mayor like his father before him.
