History: Pijjirik was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Therai does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and doesn't want to be a shepherd and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born in the east. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to pay off his debts

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Manfred was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep tan leather and dull white iron scale mail. His golden hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Skûn was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
