History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Theobald was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theobald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Qualen's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Description: He has a missing right arm. He dresses well, wearing brown shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His black hair is heavily combed to the right. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. The war was a terrible time for him, and Salasar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Salasar liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
