History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Mordai was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bowyer. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
