Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. The war was a terrible time for him, and Pallabar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

Personality: He is a Tanner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Shifting was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
