History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Robert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

History: Two Llamas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sage. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.

History: Mhurren was born the youngest of three triplets. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: Ratanák speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ratanák was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
