History: Born to a Dyer, his father struggled to pay the bills. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
