History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nykkan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Pallabar was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Healer. After a long history of fighting, Pallabar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion.

History: Baern was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

History: Traki was born with his father's beautiful face. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
