History: Cloak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Medrash enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Medrash was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Medrash's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
