Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He carries with him a set of scimitars on his belt, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raer fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is greedy

Description: He is an average looking southern male in his early mid-life. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. His hair is black and curly. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born into a rich family. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a grey wide-brimmed hat and grey clothes. His fur, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Smoking is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Smoking lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Smoking never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Scribe like his father before him.

Motivation: To be a Marshal again; and he is unsatisfied with his job
