His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His chestnut hair is braided into rings. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Garl was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Garl liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Garl fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Suhnae grew up listening to his father's many stories. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after Shifting was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Shifting's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of giants
