History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Ûkshak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ûkshak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Gunter speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born in the south. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
