History: Shamash lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Yurk was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things
