Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Spear lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Dench is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now mingles about in high society.
