Description: This man wears an entirely grey suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized emerald on his right hand. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Mantus was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born into a rich family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bricklayer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bricklayer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and money/treasure
