History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light grey in addition to tight pants. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Zephan took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up mace and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Jocelyn speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jocelyn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jocelyn. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
