Personality: Alex hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He comes from a rich northern family. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right.
