Description: He wears bulky grey painted plate armor, and he perpetually has his greataxe ready. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oppleby grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Gnome Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He struck the Spice Merchant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He is in excellent shape and wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is white, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. His gray fur has been sun bleached extensively. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Smoking embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in a small island village. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. After a long history of fighting, Smoking and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and many brigands want him driven away

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. The war was a terrible time for him, and Cockaby does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Cockaby's homeland. Cockaby decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
