History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Bard school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
