History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Riardon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Riardon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Adventurer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
