He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. After coming to the age of reason, Ûshgol took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He wears his chestnut hair down. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: Thervan is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Thervan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thervan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
