Description: He stands about 5'10" and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His blonde hair has been sun bleached extensively. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.
