History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Shane liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of a Painter, who enjoyed hunting, Melech was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
