History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Barendd was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Body Guard. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Harbek was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. A gifted student he started as a Barrister, but he got bored and became a Shipwright. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and balancing his hectic life and new shipwright responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. The war was a terrible time for him, and Seven does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Seven was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Herbalist they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Navigator mother left him crippled. He has never given up on his music dream.
