His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 6'8" and wears a brown vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his brown boots flare out at the collars. His red hair is unkempt and raggedy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bookbinder but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

He wears long strands of aquamarine and short tan dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His green crest is braided into rings. His gold eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He got into the Stableman business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
