History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Qualen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
