Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Rivaan liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Guard. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
