Personality: Naal is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Naal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
