History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he has a large green mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his white robe. His hair is black and very short. He has violet eyes and a green hat with a white feather.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He's in love; and he feels threatened by others

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Ribbles hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ribbles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has achieved small success as a Guard.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly scythes and rapiers. His hair is blonde, silky, and of moderate length. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Taklinn was born with his father's beautiful face. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Sculptor kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
