History: Umpen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
