He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Roger was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He has worked as a Bookbinder like his mother before him.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
