Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Laucian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Laucian. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Laucian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.
