History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. His gold crest is knotted and matted. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Reirak lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He uses divination through singing.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against drow
