History: Born to a Weaver, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Adam was a troubled youth. History: Gifted from a young age, Qualen studied abroad. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is a Stylist first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Shamash was born the youngest of three triplets. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Stylist responsibilities is difficult; and doesn't want to be a stylist and was forced into it by his family

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a mortician again
