History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Courier arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times.
