History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Howard grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Howard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Howard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion.

History: Donaar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.
