Bertram Brushgather, Male Halfling [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a rapier on his belt. His golden hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Locksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.
