History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's also a talented Carpenter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He stands about 5'8" and typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep green leather and dull blue iron scale mail. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He has no fur. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Spice Merchant. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Gale was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Brewer, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He became a Spice Merchant soon after.

Motivation: To be a Brewer again; and balancing his hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'8" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He has dyed his greying dark red hair a little too much giving a sharp dark red color. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gold eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down
